>The biggest gift I’m still working on every minute is staying focused on the present.
I have to point out something about your post, (that I just found btw?!), you ooze appreciation. I find it lovely to know that with what you are/have been through, you are thankful for every morsel of beauty life has shown up with.
It is encouraging. It is thoughtful. It is present. And if you are in doubt of its reality, I will happily remind you.
>It’s great to talk with someone smarter than me about AI, technology, and of course, our kids.
I don't know if I can bring smarter, but I have different perspectives should you want to hear about them. And while I haven't gone through the same trials as you, I'm often seeking great conversations and alternate perspectives.
Either way, keep reminding yourself why your experiences were necessary to shape this version of you. Somehow he is even more encouraging than the Stephen_v3.2 (or however you see your growth). 🤩
Thank you so much for taking some time to respond to my post. I'm thankful to my wife Lisa and my therapist to helping me understand how lucky I am... today. :) I'm scared and sad and all of that at the same time, but I'm working so hard not to waste these "bonus" days that I'm having. When someone is aware of a limited time, it becomes more precious. The day I was diagnosed I was reset to Steve 0.1 and I'm probably around v0.3 now - At least that's how I'm trying it. I enjoyed difficult conversations with you and hope to do more! Lunch appointment applied. :)

I agree: bonus time! Glad to hear you're getting the support from various areas! Don't forget to send a candle to the reference I gave you in Houston!
Thank you!
